Yes, although new Lada's are no longer available to buy in Britain or Western Europe. They are still being built in Russia, and also in Egypt for the North African market, but were withdrawn from sale in Western Europe back in 1997 due to their not complying with exhaust emission standards set by the EU. Most Lada's within the EU nowadays are secondhand cars that pre-date the emissions regulations- it is possible to have a new one specially imported as a one-off, but it's engine would need some modifications before it was used on the road to make it's exhaust gases cleaner.
