Why does the temperature gauge on your 2001 malibu not work and the cooling fans run all the time?
larger fans tend to run quieter
2001 VW jetta the radiator cooling fans run all the time they run soon you turn the ignition switch on with cold engine. if the engine is hot and you turn the ignition switch off the stay on till battery goes dead.
There are four relays that run the fans. Check them. In the mean time run your defogger and that should kick on the fans.
The cooling fans are controlled by the engine computer. It watches the coolant temp sensor, which is near the thermostat, to decide when to run the fans. Yhe computer acuates a realy to turn the fans on.
Under normal operation one fan will run until you turn on the air conditioner then both fans run.
alot of the time when the censor for the cooling fan dont work, people will hook the fans up direct.Check to see if there are wires coming from the fan to the battery.I hope that helps.Fred
engine cooling fan should not do this - bad temp sensor likely
your themostat does not control your fans your fans are controled by coolant temp sensor if they are running all the time the problem is in the coolant temp it not working and ecm is overriding it and alowing the fans to run all the time.
The RAM is where the computer stores all the required codes to run it.
NO , Tom Welling the real actor has nothing on computer at all all run by fans and role players and people impersonating him saying there him but lying to everyone on social sights lie Twitter and Facebook etc. All he wants to do is live as private as he can and go to work , go home spend time with family and his close friends and his new girl friend and be private he has no time to be on computer at all he is to busy .
The cooling fans will run when there is a signal calling for them to come on. High temps will do that. Also anytime the ac is on, a fan will run. Try turning the ac off and see if one of the fans stop. Do this when the engine is cold. If the fans run anyway, check your fan relays, they may be stuck on.
