Yes, General Motors produced a 327 cubic inch V8 engine with a 4-bolt main configuration. This engine was part of the small-block family and was commonly used in various Chevrolet models, particularly during the mid-1960s. The 4-bolt main design offered enhanced durability and strength, making it popular among performance enthusiasts and racers.
3814678 appears to be a bad number 3914678 is a 1968, 302, 327, or 350. 2 bolt main block
That should be a 4 bolt main 350
The earliest small block I've encountered with 4 bolt mains was a large journal 327 from about 67 or so.
yes
Yes, they have the same bolt pattern.
327 + 327 = 654
i have a 1967 chevy c10 truck. i want to know what 5 or 6 speed manual transmission will bolt up to the original 327?
YES.
That is a moot question because either motor can be built to be stronger than the other one. Stock motor verses stock mototr an older 327 will produce more horsepower unless you find a four bolt main 350 which is called the 350LT1
No. The 327, is a small block.
As long as it has the Chevy bolt pattern, yes.
it was made in 1969 from what i found.i have one that is 3932386 that left id pad says is a 327 out of full size car 210 hp.but that casting was also used for a 302 and 350 came in mostly 4 bolt mains but Chevy history says there was some 2 bolt 327's.
