To remove the deck pulley on a John Deere LX176, first, ensure the mower is turned off and disconnect the battery for safety. Remove the mower deck by unhooking the lift links and any retaining clips. Next, locate the pulley and use a socket wrench to remove the bolt securing it. After removing the bolt, gently lift the pulley off the shaft.

The L110 requires 2 quarts of SAE 10w30 Full Synthetic with oil/filter change.
John Deere does not advise changing trans fluid on the lx176 for two (2) reasons. (1) The possibility of contaminants getting in the resevoir. (2) The system has to be burped(bleeded) like you would car brakes. If you are unfimiliar with this process, you could be left with an immovable tractor or a substantial cost from a dealer to correct the problem. You are better off just topping off with wd10x30 motor oil.
It means you have low oil pressure. Can be low of oil, or the oil pump has failed. do not run this engine until you find the problem.
Yes, you can use synthetic oil in your John Deere lawn tractor. Synthetic oil can provide better protection and performance compared to conventional oil, but it is important to check your tractor's manual for specific recommendations on oil type and viscosity.
