Of course.
It is not advisable to take a soft-top car through a car-wash. The water pressure used to blast dirt from the car and the suction used to remove water from the body's surface are extreme and likely to damage the fabric, stitching or seal.
Yes, but I would not recommend it. It will tear it up.
I would think any car could go through a car wash although I wouldn't run a convertible through one or one that leaks around the windows.
Well, it depends if you have the roof up or down, if its up, of course u can go through, but if it's down you're in serious trouble. =]
It is not recommended that you take a Jeep Wrangler through a touchless car wash with the soft top on the Wrangler. You can go through the car wash with the hard top.
yes you can... but i don't recommend it. EDIT: You should NOT get your convertible in a car wash it will ruin it... you better try interior & exterior steam cleaning. I agree with the answer above, but it shouldn't actually be a problem to wash a convertible in a touch less car wash. Now, there are several cars with soft tops that may with age end up with holes, even if they are not big enough to leak when it rains. BUT, when you use a car wash like the ones with a wand, or even the drive through types which use pressurized water jets, that can reveal the weaknesses of age. the best way to wash a convertible is in the driveway and wash only the body panels. when it comes to the soft top, they actually have products that will clean and condition the material that most are made from. I wqould also like to tell you that there are quite a few factory or even aftermarket soft tops that will have seams that are not water tight. so again, pressurized water jets or wands can push water through those weaknesses and soak your interior. from my experience, once a convertible interior gets soaked, it can start to grow bacteria that will make the car smell sour and is very hard to fix. Wash a convertible without the proper products and procedures with caution.
Not only can you take it through a car wash, you can do it with the top down, then drive it into the nearest river up past the hood and it'll still run
It is not recommended for a laser wash. But a regular car wash that doesnt have alot of pressure behind it should work.
The soft strips that are used in modern automatic carwashes should not damage the soft top of a convertable automobile.æ Just make sure you turn your radio off so your antennae doesn't get damaged.
That depends on the amount of overhead clearance at the car wash, but, for the sake of practicality, you should take it off, even if you have the sufficient clearance.
u could but u would have to put on the low one
