Not if you're going over 40mph, according to the manufacturer instructions. We've got one now and when driving with it empty we had a severe wobble from the unit at 60-65mph. Haven't tried it weighed down yet

To check if a CD is empty, insert it into your computer's CD drive. Open 'This PC' or 'My Computer' and double-click the CD drive icon to view its contents. If the folder is empty or contains no files, the CD is likely empty. You can also right-click the CD drive and select 'Properties' to see the used and free space on the disc.

Does pets go through the scanners at the airports?

You should never put a pet through the x-ray machine. When traveling with a pet in a carry-on carrier, it is best to remove the animal from the carrier, put the empty carrier through the x-ray, while you hand-carry the animal through the metal detector or scanner. Alternatively, you can request that the agents hold the carrier, while you go through the metal detector or body scanner; you can then remove the animal and let them put the empty carrier through the x-ray. In either case, make sure that you have a good grip on your pet at all times--you do not want an escape in a busy airport!
