If it is cracked, the vehichle may be driveable, but if it's blown, there's not going to be any cylinder compression and the engine won't run.

∙ 2010-01-07 05:18:31no. depending on how long the car was driven with a blown head gasket some serious metal on metal warping could have occured if are trying to buy a used car for cheap that had a blown head gasket i wouldn't recommend however if its your car that has the blown gasket take it to the shop very easy to fix
usually not....the engine will start, but will run rough and/or overheat
Nope
yes but if it is a blown head gasket it will make it miss and put steam and some water out the tell pipe if its not doing these things then check your anti knock sensor
Cracked Engine Block or blown head gasket.
Sure it will start with a blown head gasket. But, if you continue to run this engine with a blown head gasket you will destroy the engine.
you dont, you will kill the engin!
Sure you CAN, but if you do continue to run an engine with a blown head gasket you will destroy the engine. Do not run any engine with a blown head gasket or you will be buying a new engine.
With a blown head gasket the engine will still run, poorly with issues, but run. A blown engine will not continue to run from that moment on.
It is not wise to drive with a blown head gasket. If you continue driving with a blown gasket, eventually your car will over heat and the engine will seize up. This can cause accidents if it occurs while driving.
In some cases, a car with a blown head gasket can be driven. However, it can lead to some bigger car problems down the line.
You can drive it for as long as pie tastes good!
no it is not ok to drive with it blown u can damage more things then just the head
Because the head gasket is blown.
Not very far. If it's only the head gasket your engine should still run but driving it is a very bad idea. with a blown head gasket the coolant channels wont be sealed and you'll lose it all. without coolant the engine would overheat in a matter of minutes.
what are you asking here? PLease be more specific ...like - how do I know if my head gasket is blown, or what do I do about a blown head gasket ......
No it will not. The only thing that will fix a blown head gasket is to replace the gasket.
