Can you drive your newly purchased commercial vehicle across state lines with temporary tags and an IFTA sticker?

I have recently purchased a commercial tractor and trailer. I was given a 30 day temporary tag. I was also given an IFTA sticker. Can I legally haul freight across states lines before I receive my permanent apportioned plates? Where do I find the answer to this question? Thank you.

How old do you have to be to drive tractor trailer in the US?

The minimum age to obtain a CDL is 18, provided all of your driving (in a commercial vehicle) is within the boundaries of the state issuing your licence. If you want to drive across state lines, or get an endorsement to haul hazardous materials, you must be 21.
