can I let my grandson drive my car on L plates
-that depends on what you mean by restricted- to ride a 125cc bike you have to be at least 17 you pass your cbt- you are allowed to ride a bike up to 125cc as long as you wear L plates at all times, do not go on motorways and do not carry a pillion passanger
You can buy magnetic, adhesive, and clip-on types of L plates for displaying on a vehicle while learning to drive. Magnetic L plates can be easily attached and removed, adhesive plates stick to the vehicle's body, and clip-on plates can be easily clipped on and off the vehicle.
You are able to drive a 50cc without l plates if you have a CBT and full driving licence but you still need L plates if you plan on driving anything bigger like a 125cc
in Ireland and UK you can as long as you have a fully qualified driver beside you
You can ride a 125cc motorcycle on motorways providing you have passed your test and are riding without "L plates". It isn't the best experience as you are almost constantly red-lining the revs in top gear, but it can definitely be done.
You are breaking the law, at lease in the UK. A learner driver must have a full licence holder sitting in the passenger seat, display 'L' plates front and rear of the vehicle, be covered by insurance, and not drive on the motorways.
no the only time which you can drive a car alone in the UK is when you have passed your driving test and you hold a full license. if you have not passed your driving test you can drive a car if you have a provisional license and L plates with a person who has held a full license for three years or more and is over 21 years old!
Going from the fact that people do homemade license plates on trailers - I'd say yes.
Hey there ... I'm stuck, I was sure that you could drive a 125cc in Scotland of you had taken your CBT and had L plates on the bike, no passengers and not allowed on motorways. Then somebody told me that you could have a 125cc but have it restricted to a 50cc until you turn 17. Then I got told that I could only get a 50cc and now I'm really disappointed as I just got an aprillia RS125 and I don't know if I can drive it on the road or not. I need help? Anyone? (Good detailed answers please) Thanks.
what age do you have to be to get your l-plates in western Australia
YES! never do that because you will be fined no matter what the story you tell the officers is.
