A fuse block can have a "open circuit"or it can overheat from a "short". all cars have "pattern failures" that are known, check with another mechanic to find out if he is familiar with your car having fuse blocks go bad, still, any part can fail on a car, remember it's all "man made"

A fuse doesn't go bad. It protects a circuit. If the circuit is overloaded the fuse blows. If your Nissan is running sluggish, it is not a fuse going bad.

Try looking at the fuse block in front of the door on the passenger's side. It has a door you can open to find the fuse. It is the same fuse that powers the radio. Apparently this fuse is one that goes bad a lot!
