It depends what fuse but yes it is possible. If it is the ignition fuse then yeah your car won't start. If it is the fuse for your horn, yeah the car will still start.
the last person to answer this queston is a jerk...it depends on what fuse. there are main engine fuses under the hood that could prevent the car from starting...these are the ones that dont look like fuses you can buy at walmart...they are quite large and high amperage.
usually not....the engine will start, but will run rough and/or overheat
If the car is a Diesel there is 30 amp open fuse on the firewall
Main fuse.
On a 1993 Ford Probe GT, a blown fuse that could prevent the car from starting is typically the fuse for the ignition system or the fuel pump. Check the 15A fuse in the fuse box labeled "Ignition" or "Fuel Pump" as these are crucial for the starting process. Additionally, inspect the main relay and any associated fuses that might affect the starting circuit. If these fuses are intact, further diagnostics may be needed to identify the issue.
You know your car has blown a fuse if whatever the fuse is for suddenly quits working. For example if your radio is playing and for no reason quits it may be a fuse has blown.
In an Audi TT, a blown fuse that could prevent the car from starting is typically the fuse related to the starter motor or ignition system, often located in the fuse box. Specifically, fuses for the engine control unit (ECU) or fuel pump may also be critical, as they are essential for starting the vehicle. It's advisable to check the owner's manual for the exact fuse numbers and locations. If the fuses are intact, further diagnostic checks may be needed.
Replace blown fuse
Blown fuse
Not while it is in the fuse holder. Pull it out and if you cannot look and tell if it is blown or not, test it with an Ohm meter.
Does the car door have a key slot and do you have a key for it or not
Yes, it just depends on which fuse.
