technically yes an SUV can be considered a truck because for one SUV's and trucks use the same frames such as a Ford Expedition and an F-150 use the same frame as does a 1500 and Tahoe. and for two when you look up parts for SUV's, they are usually under a truck category, like with fords, i have an expedition and when i look up parts for it, depending on the site or company, it is usually under Ford trucks, not under the ford category. so in short, an SUV can be considered a truck.
