Let me tell you this from the start, to explain how a car engine works is probely the hardest thing to do, I couldt figure it out either, it just comes to you at some point..
1) A mixture of fuel an air enters the cylinder, which haves a piston inside.
2) The piston is forces upwards, compressing the mixture.
3) A spark plug on the top is hit.
4) Spak plug makes an explosion inside the cylinder, which forces the piston downwards.
5) the explosion haves enought power to force the piston upwards. (explains the second step.)

and this happends again and again and again.

I am not suprised if you didn't get it.
You might want to check out some drawing/vids on this.

No.
The noise
It would be your cerpentine belt that runs our "extras" on your engine or your transmisson. Best thing to stop it would be to change the belt under the hood on the engine. If that doesnt work change your transmission fluids.
through the car engine creating energy, then it is released into the atmosphere
You can repair the drum brakes on your car by getting the needed parts from an auto store then either taking the car to a mechanic or finding a step by step instructions and costs about 200 dollars.
Just like any other car's engine.

A heat engine that uses heat to do work
