You probably have frozen brake caliper slider pins or a frozen brake caliper piston on one side.
buy new brake pads
Most cars have 4 brake pads in the front two per side of the car
You need to check for caliper slide.....if the caliper does not slide evenly, the wear will be uneven. If your slide bolts are gummed up, rusty or seized, you will get uneven brake wear.
Your V brakes may be rubbing on one side due to misalignment of the brake pads or the wheel. Adjusting the brake pads or realigning the wheel should help resolve the issue.
The brake pad wear sensor is on the brake pads. On my 318ti, the sensor is on the left side, on the inboard pad.
On a 2002 GMC Yukon XL, the brake pads are located within the brake calipers, which are mounted on the brake rotors at each wheel. To access the brake pads, you'll need to remove the wheel and then detach the caliper from its bracket. The pads sit on either side of the rotor, pressing against it to create friction when the brakes are applied.
Worn brake pads or a defective wheel bearing. If it only growls under braking it is the pads. If it growls all the time and more so when making a turn it is the wheel bearing. Inspect your brake pads/rotor and wheel bearings if necessary.
Probably has a sticky brake caliper or sticky brake caliper sliders. Who ever replaced the brake pads should have seen that.
2 on each side, the box will conatin all 4 pads.
Your bike brake may be rubbing on one side due to misalignment of the brake pads, a bent rotor, or a loose brake caliper. Check and adjust these components to fix the issue.
You need to check your brake pads or the sensor wire on your brake pads could have snapped
