sounds like a wheel speed sensor has gone out you will need ot replace the wheel bearing.
Check brake fluid level. If there is a leak and lower pedal, it will activate the ABS. Or air in the lines. Or a bad ABS sensor. Or maladjusted brakes. It could also be a wheel bearing that is going bad since the sensor points inside the hub to a ring on the wheel bearing.
on all four wheels.. right by the wheel bearing
The ABS sensor is located in the front wheel bearing. The is one on either side, so you will need a mechanic to pull the error code out of the car's computer to determine which side it is. You must replace the entire wheel bearing to fix the sensor, but chances are that if the sensor goes the wheel bearing is leaking. The wheel bearing is a sealed unit and should not leak, but over time, water, grime, and wear, it may begin to no longer be sealed. Buy a new wheel bearing and install it your self if you want. All you have to do is take off the wheel, the brake caliper, the rotor, and finally the bearing itself.
if it is all wheel ABS it right behind the rotor and goes into the front wheel bearing and if it is not all wheel ABS it is the back wheel behind the rotor
