Nope. All modern B&S engines use Magnetron (R) solid state ignition. Check plug, wiring, armature (coil) air gap, flywheel magnet condition, flywheel key, etc. for no spark conditions. When all else fails, try a new armature ($$$). Timing is permanently set by factory.
