Beware of La-Z-boy's so-called warranty. It's for parts only after the first year. Their wooden frames are only glued together and the older chairs from the 1990's are now literally falling apart. They want $80/hr. to take them into their shop and completely tear the chair apart to replace the broken frame after 5 or 6 hours of labor and replace the dried out, glued-together frame with the same sub-standard junk again. Their "warranty" is nothing more than a money maker and a consumer rip-off marketing tool.
