they are 6 coils. 1 per cylinder. 3 in the front and 3 in the rear. you have to remove the engine plastic cover first to get to the front 3. you have to remove the engine intake to get to the rear. it takes about an hour to change all 6 spark plugs, which requires the same work.
Ignition coils are a vital part of any car, increasing the vehicle battery from six or twelve volts, depending on the car's age, to thousands of volts in order to spark the spark plugs and get the engine running. Not all vehicles are equipped with ignition coils, but the ones that do all have them in the same place -- adjacent to the spark plugs located on the right hand side of the engine.
Depends on year and engine size.early 2.4 quad 4 coils were under top engine cover.most other models had either single coil for seperate cylinders or 1 coil pack for all cylinders.
the same way all modern combustion engines work with fuel ,compression, and ignition
If all the electromagnets have the same diameter, and all of them have the same length, and all have the same material in their cores, and all have the same current through their coils, then the one with the most turns in its coil is the most powerful one.
No. Not at all. Horsepower varies different engine sizes if engine at all.
On the voyager XII, the engine oil and the transmission oil are all the same. Draining the engine oil takes care of it all. On the voyager XII, the engine oil and the transmission oil are all the same. Draining the engine oil takes care of it all.
I would check the main wiring coming from the cabin to the engine compartment. Also make sure that all fuses are good.
yes it fit alot of Chevy engines including all small blocks and big blocks to same bolt pattern
First of all, the engine will not run on one cylinder ... chances are the computer is correct - try replacing the two coils.
Depends on what engine. They are not all the same. Need make, and size engine to answer this question.
No it is all basicaly the same.
