∙ 10y agoSo acceleration is an increase of speed every second. The increase of speed was 9miles/sec and this was over 3 seconds. Therefore there was an acceleration of 3 miles/second every second i.e. 3m/s2

∙ 10y agoA car accelerates from a standstill to 60km/hr in 10.0 seconds what is its acceleration
No
20 miles per second / 10 seconds = 2 miles per second ^ 2
10.0 seconds
the acceleration of the car is 1.179m/s/s given the formula provided.
an object uniformly accerlerates over a distance of 100 m in 20 seconds. calculate the acceleration.
The acceleration of the body is 3 m/s²
20 mph/s North
8 mph/s north
Average acceleration = (change in speed) / (time for the change) = (88 - 44) / (11) = 4 meters per second2
Acceleration = (change in speed) divided by (time for the change) = (9/3) = 3 m/s2
3 / 12 = 0.25 miles/second2.
