check the vacuum diaphragm for leaks. Might be a hole in the vacuum line.

Chevrolet manufactures the Mudding 4x4. Chevy Mudding 4x4 is a heavy duty truck that can be used on rough and wet roads. It has a strong engine and good grip.
Dodge d50 4x4 is one of the lightest i know of weighing in at 2500 lbs curb weight
One of the safest 4x4 diesel pick up is the 2013 Sierra 3500HD Denali. Another highly rated 4x4 is the Ford Kruga. A dealer would be able to offer further advice.
is it a new 99 and up 5.3 or 5.7 no but older yes but you will need other mods because it wont get enought fuel for the bigger motor unless u use the injectors of the 5.3 or 5.7
Vacuum hose disabled.
why wont the light come on the 4x4 drive
no it wont hurt the jimmy
If the automatic 4x4 works but the front hubs do not engage in a 1994 Ranger, there is no 4 wheel drive. The transaxle for the 4 wheel drive has to be repaired.
Check for broken vacuum lines to the front axle shifter.
Well i relly dnt know but that's stupid that they wont...
check vaccum lines on differential or by shift linkage
the four wheel drive is opperated by vacuum that's probably where your problem is
electric shift for 4x4 control flashing wont go in 4 wheel drive
If your year/model truck has the push buttons on the dash to engage the 4x4 check to see if the 4x4 button is stuck in. Bump the dash panel with your hand or try to gently pry it out if it is stuck.
4x4 dash lights not working 94 ranger
