I found out the starter relay was bad, also the battery had several weak cells. Replaced both and it starts just fine. Hope this helps someone else.

if it is turning over just fine it is NOT the starter. test the fuel pump, check the fuel and air filters. check ignition for spark
Because of the water moving in that turns to ice which acts like a glacier, which then moves the stones.

My PT Cruiser runs fine for awhile, then acts like it is out of fuel. Then in a few seconds it is back to running fine.
Spray a little gas in intake to make sure. If OK then check for spark by pulling a plug and cranking over engine. If OK then check for jumped timing belt.
It sounds like the shear pin has been sheared.
Its totally fine.... your time will come but its just not now. Dont act like your mad at her, that never turns out good.
