Well the first thing that comes to mind is the battery so if u haven't already then check that, its probably not the battery if its trying to start so it could be the alternator or the starter or a few other things but most likely one of the two. I am not an expert but that is my opinion and i have slightly over average experience so yea. Hope this helps!

with key in off position try getting a block of wood and bump the underside of the fuel tank. hard but not enough to dent. try this a few times. if it cranks its your fuel pump and change asap. if not then check your fire by pulling plug wire insert Phillips screwdriver(im assuming you don't have a tester) and ground to engine block be sure not to touch metal w, hands. then as engine turns lightly lift away from ground if a spark jumps to engine block then fire is ok. that leaves fuel which as a ordinary guy you cant test without proper tools other than removing air filter and squirting small amount of starting fluid or gasoline. if the engine fires for a second or two fuel is your problem wich can be several things loke fuel pump, fuel relay switch, etc. better let a pro handle it.
