It all depends i ride both but i bought a 2006 polaris 330 magnum ATV and it does any ware from 45 to 46 but its and automatic and i own a 2000 Honda xr 100r this is a manual with a clutch. but the dirt bike has a smaller engine but its lighter and has gears giveing at a top speed of about 70 -80 mph but how ever there are ATVs that are built for speed like the polaris outlaw or polaris predator the outlaw goes 90 mph and this is a very fast machine but its biggest cc is 525 so if u raced a 525cc dirt bike vs the outlaw 525 it would be close but the dirt bike would win because its lighter and the outlaw is a manual to with a clutch but it only has a benifet raceing dirtike from a 300 cc or lower
so to awanser your question dirtbikes are faster they are built for speed and atvs are build for a bunch of stuff such as trail rideing working hunting swamping mudding or just having some fun
Bikes are faster than scooters.
Yes overall Honda engines are more advanced and there is a lot more more that are put into them. Honda bikes are faster and are built to last longer.
I doubt it, engines today are more technical and more efficent than the ones from long ago.
no
If you have never owned a dirt bike its a motorcycle made for off road and not on road purposes but you may change the tires to go on road. Once you get better you can race one another, free ride, or do free style. I recommend free ride once you get used to the bike. There are also different dirt bikes for example: 50cc, 70cc, 80cc, 110cc, 125cc, 150cc, and 250cc. There are also two different kinds of dirt bikes, Trail and Racing. Trial dirt bikes are for the mountains and free ride but not made for racing they also go slower than racing dirt bikes. Racing Dirt bikes are made for racing and are way faster than trail bikes. There are also 4stroke dirt bikes and 2stroke dirt bikes. 2 strokes take oil in there gas and way faster than four strokes and 4 strokes take regular gas. I was at the trake once with a kid with a 2stroke and I have a 4stroke 80cc and course he beat me to a race not because I'm not bad because I have been riding for about 4 or 5 years its because he had a 2 stroke. but the kid did have more skill than I did because he did actual races. sometimes its not how big the bike is its how much skill you have
Most of them yes.
yes. by a long shot.
They are quicker and more powerful and are like the Ferrari of the dirt bikes and are built for speed and racing and the Honda is like the Holden and Ford and is a basic dirt bike!
According to my calculations a go cart is not faster than a dirt bike. Ive had my experiences.
generally a racing BMX is built for speed, hence they are made lighter than normal bikes and also have a bigger sprocket witch enables the driver( back sprocket) to go faster.
They are a hobby. They really have no other use for them other than having a lot of fun. If you want a bike you can ride on the road, go for a street bike; dirt bikes are not street-legal.
In my opinion fourwheelers are a safer more fun ride than dirtbikes
