if your key won't turn first make sure the steering wheel isn't locked and bound up. turn the wheel to relieve pressure both ways. if that doesn't do it then you may have a tumbler stuck in the ignition. first thing to do is lube it with a silicone or Teflon based spray lube and run the key in and out a few times and see if that frees it up. if not call a locksmith for a quote they are usually cheaper than a shop and mobile. Goodluck

Pull the relay to the fuel pump. Lots of GM products from that time had a problem with the lock bar mechanism in the ignition getting stuck. Take it to a dealership; it should be covered under warranty.
Older Chevy's have a steering lock when the key isn't in the ignition.
did you check your battery and alternator?
Ran out of gas? Or ran out of oil?
Mine turns on while parked and wont turn off till I start it. Its a problem with the BCM. Body control module.
TRY TURNING THE KEY OVER.
If the turn signal bulbs light but will not flash, the flasher relay is defective, replace it.
Does it turn over? No Fuel? No Spark? No compression? Weak or bad battery?
Check the brake light switch.
