May have to prime fuel lines
Try turning the key to on position without trying to start vehicle for about 5 sec. Do this 2-3 times and then try to start
If you simply ran it out of gas you will need to check the fuses labeled ECM on the fuse panel under the hood. See the fuse guide on the underside of the fuse box cover to locate them. If you find one burnt, replace and it should start right up within a few attempts.
If you are talking about a fuel pump reset button, it doesn't have one.
That truck DON'T have a reset button. Chevy didn't use them on there trucks.
Press and hold the odometer reset button in while turning on the key, hold it in for about 30 seconds let go of button, then key off. Start truck and see if maint req. is still there or gone.

Using the clutch start cancel button on a Toyota Tacoma will damage the truck. Damage can occur to the starter and eventually the engine.
The switch is located in the kickpanel. To reset, press (push in) the button on top.
