Perhaps a bad tire - try moving it to another location on vehicle Bad strut mount?
Could be the front wishbone. Mine was making similar noise, especially over bumps. Not a major repair - approx €250 euro
Mine was a busted shock. Look under the car and grab the shock. If you can wiggle it then its bad. If it looks ok I would have it checked by a professional. Good luck
it is most likely the calipers or steering i would get it check out before you have a catastrophic malfunction.

The 2003 Hyundai Santa Fe does not have air suspension; instead, it typically uses traditional coil springs or struts for the front end. A loud pop and the front end dropping could indicate a broken spring, strut, or other suspension component failure. It's important to have the vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic to determine the exact cause and ensure safety before driving it again.
I have had two new fords do this. It stopped after a while. I think mine was the heat shield on the exhaust manafold.
