well first you would want to go out and buy everything brand new in it. then you would want to replace everything and hope it works.!. umm... ok sure, that's one way... P1684 just means that your battery has been reconnected within the last 50 starts, it should go away I'm trying to figure out how to fix code P0551 on my 2002 Neon it has something to do with the power steering pressure switch or sensor more than likely. My only problem is no one can make up their minds whether or not 2002 neons have power steering pressure sensors or switch hopefully you have better luck than me LOL
