Try replacing your rear themostatic expansion valve. If it is plugged, refrigerant won't flow to the rear evaporator.
The 2001 Chevrolet Suburban has rear wheel drive.
The 2001 Chevrolet Suburban has 39.1 in. of rear leg room.
The 2001 Chevrolet Suburban has 61.6 in. of rear hip room.
The 2001 Chevrolet Suburban has 38.6 in. of rear head room.
The 2001 Chevrolet Suburban has 65.1 in. of rear shoulder room.
There are separate expansion valves in the rear, so even if the front system is failing, the rear unit could still work normally.
If 1993 suburban rear ac not cold how can check the expansion valve?

If the front AC in your 2001 Suburban works but the rear does not, the issue could be due to a faulty rear AC blower motor, a blown fuse, or a problem with the rear climate control module. Additionally, there may be an obstruction in the rear air ducts or low refrigerant levels affecting the rear system. Check the fuses first, and if they are intact, consider inspecting the blower motor and controls. If you're unable to diagnose the problem, consulting a professional mechanic may be necessary.
Most likely the rear expansion tube or valve is defective.
I have the same problem in a 1999 K2500 with the LT package. Any ideas?
