you drag and drop the file
yes. you can still have iTunes as your default music player and just import the songs from frostwire by following these steps. <> "File > Add File to Library" <> you then go to the folder that frostwire saves your downloads to. Be warned illegally downloading copyright material can lead to fines and jail time.
When a file is currently downloading it starts out in the 'incomplete file' folder. When it's done it is put in the 'saved' folder accesible through the library tab.
Go to Your Wmp Library And click the little down sign and it will bring a number of options and click add to library then click add and select the frostwire saved folder and your done :)
You should make a folder for the songs. Then you must have the folder open and your itunes at the same time. Highlight all of the songs in your music library, and drag them into the folder. It may take a few minutes if you have a lot of songs to transfer into the folder.
To add songs one can simply drag them from a folder onto the Library portion of the side bar in iTunes. The songs will be converted into the format specified in one's iTunes' preferences. The file menu where it says import file to library and import folder to library can also be used to add media to iTunes.
Your music library is normally stored in a folder called iTunes Music which is placed in your Music folder. Deleting the iTunes software from your Applications folder will not affect your music library.
FrostWire and LimeWire store music in your documents folder, or whatever folder you specify. Uninstalling / deleting them does not remove the files you downloaded.
you need to get itunes and then copy the songs from the limewire folder or where ever you have the music into itunes library
Sometimes iTunes gets confused and cannot remember where your songs are so you need to give it a guiding hand. Quit the iTunes software before you start. Your songs are stored (in Mac OS X and Windows 7) in a folder called iTunes within your Music folder (in earlier versions of Windows it will be in My Music within the My Documents folder). In that iTunes folder find the file called iTunes Library and drag it out onto your desktop. Go back into the iTunes folder and find another folder called Previous iTunes Libraries. In there find the latest version (it will be called iTunes Library Year-Month-Day) and drag that out into the main iTunes folder to replace the old iTunes Library file you removed. Rename your new file iTunes Library (by removing the date part) and then relaunch the iTunes software and it should now be able to find your songs again.
Song prices are determined by the artist and/or record label. The majority of popular songs on the iTunes store are not available free. (Holly's Answer) lol: you can also use frostwire or limewire to download songs to your iTunes library for free
Songs added to iTunes are added to the library by default. You can create a New Smart Playlist from the iTunes File menu. Amongst the many options you can set it to list all Recently Added songs. If you want to add songs from a folder outside of iTunes you will need to create an Automator and/or AppleScript (See links below) that watches the folder and tells iTunes when new songs need to be added.
