Weightlessness in outer space can lead to muscle atrophy, bone density loss, cardiovascular deconditioning, and a weakened immune system in astronauts. It can also disrupt the fluid distribution in the body, causing issues with balance and vision. Additionally, long-term exposure to weightlessness can have negative psychological effects such as feelings of disorientation and isolation.
