Tools Needed:

3/8 or 1/4 driver with 7mm socket and extension

1. remove the 7mm fastener above the speedo in the interment cluster as well as the two under the steering column.

2. Pull the steering column down and remove the fasteners on either side of the steering wheel.

3. Pull out the dash trim. Use a pry tool if u have trouble.

4. disconnect all light wiring harnesses and 4x4 (if quipped) as well as the passenger airbag connectors.

5. There should be two 7mm fasteners on either side of the radio. Remove them and slide it out.

6. Disconnect all electrical connections and the antenna from the radio.

YOU'RE DONE

Install the new radio and reverse the steps. Make sure all your lights and accessories are working (4x4, airbag etc.) Really anything you unplugged

There is no way possible to remove the stereo and replace it with an aftermarket stereo. I have talked to 15 Nissan Dealers and Nissan head technical office. They all state that it can not be done.

Begin by removing the radio cover in your 2003 Pontiac. Remove the radio retaining screws. Slide the radio out. Remove the wiring harness and the antenna cable from the back of the radio.
