This has much to do with how the air conditioner and the heater is vented.
If the air conditioner draws its air from outside it could be picking up air / smell of smoke from the other family and then redistributing it into your home.
A heater on the other had usually has a heater input vent within the house it is heating (it draws the interior air in and then heats it blowing it back out) as the air within the home will be significantly warmer than the exterior air.
If the heater has a sweet smell it could be that the heater core is leaking engine coolant. When the leak gets worse you will have a wet floor on the passenger side and the windshield will fog up when you turn on the defroster.
Check your heater hoses, that's where the water ciruclates into the heater from the water pump.
Take it back to the dealer. The AC drain is Blocked OR the Heater Core is Leaking.
Your heater core is leaking. This is the part of your car that creates heat for the passenger compartment of your car. There is no fix for a leaking heater core except to replace it.
the a/c has not worked and i don't care for it to work, i just want the car to run a few more months.
Smoke coming out of the house air conditioner and heater unit is likely coming from dust that gets on the heater coils throughout the year. It is a good idea to have those coils and the rest of the unit serviced before the winter and summer months.
heater resistor burnt out! Located under glovebox near heater motor.(held in with 2 screws) 4 to 6 wires coming from the resistor.
You may have a leaking heater core but before you replace it check the heater hoses because sometimes coolant can pass under a loose hose clamp..........
The air conditioner or heater continually runs.

If your heater is a heat pump , then yes.
I assume you mean smoke and water are coming from the A/C vents. I suspect you are seeing steam and coolant. You probably have a heater core leaking.I assume you mean smoke and water are coming from the A/C vents. I suspect you are seeing steam and coolant. You probably have a heater core leaking.
