Blood goes in this order...

Right Atrium -> Right Ventricle -> Lungs -> Left Atrium -> Left Ventricle -> Ascending Aorta -> Descending Aorta.

So neither pump blood to the the Left Ventricle but the Left Ventricle pumps blood to the ascending aorta.

What passes blood on to Aorta?

the left ventricle pushes blood to the whole body from first the ascending aorta then into the descending aorta... it sounds confusing but its different names for the same structure. The aorta leaves the L vent. and arches upwards then travels downwards towards the hips, then bifurcates (splits) to the legs.

What is the largest vessel that is attached to the heart and what does it do?

The largest vessel attached to the heart is the Aorta, and it is responsible for delivering blood to the body. It is categorized in 2 groups, the Ascending Aorta and the Descending Aorta. The Ascending aorta includes the Carotid Arteries, which deliver blood to the brain, and the Subclavian Arteries, which brings blood to the arms. The Descending Aorta is located in the thoracic cavity with the rest of the heart and Aorta and is the part of the Aorta that curves down toward the bottom of the body and branches off into other arteries which supply the bottom portion of the body with blood.

What is the blood flow path from the mitral valve to the great toe?

From mitral valve the blood will go to left ventricle. From there, the blood will go to ascending aorta. Then arch of aorta. Then descending aorta. Then abdominal aorta. Then to common iliac artery. then to external iliac artery. Which continue as the femoral artery. Then popliteal artery. Then posterior tibial artery. Then medial and lateral planter arteries. Then the branches will go to your great toe.

From which part of the heart is blood pumped into the aorta?

The left ventricle pumps blood to the aorta

2 What does the aorta do?

The aorta is the largest artery in your body and is connected directly to the heart and it also carries the blood to the rest of your body and disperses the blood to the branches of other arteries extended off the aorta.

From what blood vessel does the descending aorta get blood?

If you are talking about where does the blood inside the descending aorta come from, it comes from the aortic arch, which comes from the ascending aorta. If you are talking about the blood that nourishes the tissues of the aorta, it is the vasa vasorum.

Where do the aortic aoritic arches pump blood to?

No. The aorta is an artery and pumps no blood. The left ventricle of the heart, however, pumps blood through the aorta to the entire body except the lungs, which are supplied with blood through the pulmonary vein. (Yes! Not the pulmonary artery as you might suppose.)

Where does the blood go after leaving the left atrium?

After blood leaves the left ventricle, it goes through the aortic valve to be pumped throughout the body.

What are the subdivisions of the aorta?

The aorta is one vessel that can be conceptualized in six parts: The aortic root: connects the aorta to the left ventricle. The coronary arteries emerge from this part. Ascending aortia: Moving away from the heart towards the neck. Aortic arch: the aorta turns at this point to descend towards the rest of the body. Branches to the brain and upper extremities branch away here. Descending aorta: extends down the back and divides into the common iliac arteries. The portion above the diaphragm is the thoracic aorta, the portion below the diagram is the abdominal aorta.

Blood trace from right ventricle to left ovary?

The ventrice carries blood with oxygen. The blood flows to the aorta valve, aortic arch, descending aorta, left iliac arteries, ovarian arteries and to the Ovary.

Valves between the ventricles and blood vessels?
