Horns are typically at the front of the engine capartment, left or right of the radiator, there are twop (a high and a low pitch) for the 2001 Firebird, not sure if they are in the same location

MOST horns are located behind the grill on one or both sides. A Few are on the inside of the fender.
The horn on a 2002 Chevy Cavalier is located in the front of the engine compartment. It is just behind the small air holes in the front fender on the passenger side of the vehicle.
The horn relay is in the fuse box by the passengers left foot. Not sure how to get at it though
That little part is buried on the intake manifold. It is not really too easy to get to but if you equip yourself with a Haynes Manual(available at AZ or NAPA) it will show you where it is,.
Find the horn and remove the wire going to the horn/s it should have a connector you can seemly slide off however if it dont you may have to clip the wire and tape the end so it doesn't short if it goes to ground. A horn in many states is required your best cure is to fix the problem and to leave the horn alone. , EzForJesus
You have to determine the cause first. Check the horn switch and contacts, fuse, relay and the horn itself.
The horn itself has failed The horn contacts/switches on steering wheel are dirty or broken The horn relay has failed The horn circuit fuse blew Wiring and or connections are corroded or broken
