Unfortunately all apartment complexes check for credit but some of them will work with you. They may charge you one or two months rent as a security deposit to ensure that you wont break your lease or refuse payment. I would try to rent from a private person if you don't want your credit ran by an apartment complex.

What apartments don't credit check in Des Moines Ia?

While specific listings can change frequently, some apartments in Des Moines, IA, may not require a credit check, typically those owned by private landlords or smaller property management companies. Additionally, certain housing programs or apartments that accept alternative screening methods might not perform traditional credit checks. It's advisable to directly contact property managers or check local rental listings to find options that suit your needs. Be prepared for potential higher deposits or alternative requirements if credit checks are waived.
