Weatherbeater paint from Sherwin Williams can be compared to the A-100 Exterior Acrylic Latex Paint line. Both paints are designed for exterior use and offer excellent durability and weather resistance. They provide good coverage and color retention, making them suitable choices for outdoor painting projects.
Sears paints at one point in time up through the 80's was the best paint on the market. Sears spent millions of dollars in research to stay the best and it was their own brand not made by anyone else. Then they let that go down the tubes along with everything else.
The last iteration of Sears paints was made by Sherwin Williams is my understanding. I'm sure Sherwin Williams did NOT put out their very best products when licensing them out to another company...
Yes, they make both Sears Weatherbeater and Sears Easy Living paints.
Sears interior and exterior paints and primers are made by Sherwin-Williams. In fact, chemically, they are identical to some of Sherwin-Williams line of paints for about $5 or so less per gallon.Sears paint brushes (Weatherbeater and One Coat brands) are made by Shur-Line which is a sub-company of Rubbermaid.
Sherwin Williams is clearly a superior product. As a painting contractor we've had opportunity to use a variety of products and found consistency of Rodda product to be unreliable.
The answer depends on what type of product you are talking about. For interior and exterior acrylic paints, Kelly-Moore is infinitely better than Sherwin Williams. This opinion is from personal experience. For fast drying wood stains and some epoxies Sherwin Williams is better.
Sherwin-Williams is a paint manufacturer. They make paint for themselves and other private-label paint companies.

Sherwin Williams along with most of the DIY stores can colour match any paint sample....I worked in the Sears paint department for 25 years....Desoto Chemical was the original maker of the Weatherbeater and Easy Living paints...as like anything else, Sears in an effort to cut costs turned the paint manufacturing over to Sherwin Williams......if possible take a 3"x3" colour swatch from a unweathered area to SW or a DIY store....while working at Sears I colour matched thousands of gals. of paint in Sears and and other brands....the secret is getting a good swatch/colour card...good luck and remember the satin/semi gloss/flat finish will make the original finish slightly different...Rob

Sherwin Williams has an official website so I would check with this first because if there are any coupons or discounts on paint you should be able to find them here.
Yes. They have a paint for exterior metal surfaces.
Do you Sell red Devil Paint
It varies, for each type of paint. Sherwin-Williams still has the color in their system, they just don't have color chips to take home.
Sherwin Williams does. Albeit much lower quality than anything you might find at a sherwin Williams store.
Sherwin Williams stores carry Frazee brand paint. However, not all Sherwin Williams stores carry this product. It is sold in California, Nevada, and Arizona.
