I do not beleive the zig zag works as mine does not, looking at the top of the machine where the zig zag knob is located the internal cam seems to be on backwards thus reandering it useless. The machine sews excellent in streight stitch. sorry!
The process of longshore drift is waves hit up against the sand and the sand grains are taken by the waves back into the sea and back to shore again, this is called swash ans backwash.
I thought they were the aliens from the Big Breakfast

Material can be transported along a beach via longshore drift;Waves approach beach at an angleMaterial is pushed up the beach by the swash in the same direction as the wave approachAs the water runs back down the beach the backwash drags material down at right angles to the beach lineOver a period of time sediment moves in this zig-zag fashion down the coast.Material can also be transported along a beach at low tide when the sand dries out by the wind (usually forming sand dunes)Material may also be transported up and down a beach by attrition. Waves may have fairly high energy so will pick up material and may loose energy further up the beach and therefore deposit it there.Might also be moved by saltation (waves carry slightly smaller sediment in the same way as attrition)Waves may be swash-aligned (waves hit beach straigt on, so sediment moved up and down beach) or drift-aligned (waves hit beach at right angles causing longshore drift)
Longshore drift generally occurs when waves approach the shoreline at an angle, creating a zig-zag pattern of sediment transport along the coast. This process is most common in areas with strong wave action and prevailing currents that move sediment along the shore.
the trenches were zig zag to prevent the enemy firing along the whole trench if the captured a small part
Longshore currents transport sediment along the coastline parallel to the shore. These currents are driven by the waves hitting the coast at an angle, causing sediment to move in a zig-zag pattern along the shoreline.
Myomeres are blocks of skeletal muscle tissue arranged in a series along the sides of fish and some invertebrates. They work together to generate movement by contracting in a coordinated manner.
The rapid zig-zag movement of tiny dust particles suspended in air or in liquid
It moves it in a zig zag motion. The waves go up the beach in an angle, so when the waves breaks at an angled the pebbles/materials are carried up the beach in the direction of a wave (swash) and when the wave returns to see dragging some materials back with it called a backwash.hope this helps
A zag is a sharp turn or reversal.
There are many words that are commonly said in front of zag. Some of these words include: mystery zag, zig zag and preview zag. There are just a few examples.
If you're refering to Zig Zag rolling papers- then the answer is yes and no. You can have the papers on you, but you must have tobacco to go along with it. Other wise it would be considered drug paraphenillia. It really depends on the cop. when it all comes down to it.
alligators can move up to 30mph an hour so if you are running from one you should run in a zig zag path because its hard for alligators to make turns
Metalloids can be found along the zig-zag line in the periodic table. Any element that shares at least 1 side with the zig-zag line is a metalloid, excluding aluminium and antimony. Aluminum and antimony are metals.
