Having watched Maces being carried in various Universities in Melbourne Australia there doesn't seem to be a proper side the mace is carried. It was once explained to me that in order to carry the Mace as it was intended, you carry it on the side where it will have the most impact, so it can be seen. So if a University procession is processing on to a stage and the public in the hall, auditorium etc are on the right hand side of entry the mace should be carried on the right shoulder. Naturally the reverse would apply if it were the other way around, it should be carried like a rifle, in this case the heavy end resting on the shoulder, the smaller/lighter end carried by extending the right/left arm. the resting arm should remain at the side of the carrier, as mentioned each graduation I have witnessed tends to do things "their way" I an suprised that a great many mace carriers do not wear white gloves
there are two main sensors used to do this a crank position and a cam position sensor. They tell the computer where the internal parts of the engine are in a 360 degree cycle and the computer tells coils to fire at the appropriate time
You can most likely find a guide at a local auto parts store like NAPA or Autozone, try Autozone first or Advanced Auto Parts if you have one, they are usually pretty good about carrying guides like that.

No. Ireland has a president, but it is a largely ceremonial position.
In a constitutional monarchy, the king or queen is the head of state, but they are checked by the provisions of the constitution. The monarch in a ceremonial position is merely a figurehead.
The governor-general's role is mostly ceremonial with little real power.
In general, no. The position of General Secretary is more analogous to Prime Minister than President. Any position labeled "President" in a communist country is generally a purely ceremonial position.
Generally, the prime minister of the appropriate realmadvises the monarch on appointments of governors general.--------------------Not the Queen. All royal roles are ceremonial in the Canadian system. The Prime Minister selects, appoints, and controls the GG. Should the Queen or GG say or do anything to suggest otherwise it would create a constitutional crisis in Canada. That said there are important ceremonial roles that must be carried out.

It"s a convoy of sorts- an organized procession-so- all participants have the running lights-Position On. I would imagine hearses and limousines used by Funeral directors have beefed-up electrical systems ( generators, distributors) rto handle the extra load.
