If you're just going to play wow, don't spend loads, but if you're thinking of playing new titles I'd get one of the new ATI Cards or Nvidia ones :-D

Sounds like you need a complete overhaul. Reinstall the Operating System. I suggest Ubuntu (unless the graphics card is an ATI then you might have problems.
