It just means it need an oil change and tune up. It does not monitor any engine systems and is only a reminder. Reset it at any time you please unless you actually use it as a reminder for maintenance. It also means that you have drivin your Honda for 5,000 miles :) I own a 1997 Honda Accord and my indicator light just turned RED but it was do to the fact that I slammed into someone and I guess the impact made the light come on but for the most part you can reset the indicator by putting your key in the slot next to the indicator if you have oneOr try to hold down the "Trip" button so it resets and this should work if it doesn't then get an oil change and a tune up and that should work :)

What does it mean when the maitience required light has gone from green to yellow to red on a 97 Honda accord is it major?

When the maintenance required light on a 1997 Honda Accord changes from green to yellow to red, it indicates that the car is due for scheduled maintenance. The color change does not necessarily indicate the severity of the maintenance needed, but it is important to address it promptly to ensure the car continues to run smoothly. Regular maintenance can help prevent major issues in the long run.

If the maintenance required red light came on in a 1995 Honda Accord EX what does this indicate?

It means Maintence is required. Open your owner's manual and it will explain this in detail. If this is the same as on a 1996 Honda Accord then after you get your oil changed if you push the button that is right next to it it will turn green again that is my take on it. Mine turned from yellow to red and I pushed the button and it did nothing but after I changed the oil and pushed the button it turned back to green.

What does yellow indicate on the ph scale?

How do you reset the maintenance light on a Honda Accord 1994?

Are you refering to the "Check Engine yellow light" or the little square box near the bottom of the display panel center section? When scheduled maintenance is required the normal green color in the square box will change color to yellow. It is to remind you that the routine maintenance according to the owners manual is due. To change it back to the normal green color "insert you ignition key into the slot below the box and press in" this will reset to the normal position. I have a 1994 Honda accord LX since it was new and is now 14 years old-belive me this is the correct procedure according to the owners manual. Ethan McKay emckay1@san.rr.com

Is yellow acid or alkali?

Yellow is not a definitive indicator of whether a substance is an acid or an alkali. The color of a substance is not directly related to its pH or acidity levels. pH testing is required to determine if a substance is acidic or alkaline.
