It could be the carb needs to be rebuilt. I have a 1971 f100 myself is a 360 manual 4 speed and that fixed that problem. The accelerator pump on it wasn't working causing it to be way down on power and bog down when I was giving it the gas. If yours is an auto tranny then there could be something wrong with it like its skipping first gear or your torque converter isn't stalling when it should. Hope this helps you tjman oug
bad synchronizer
Oxygen sensor
This is a safety feature.
could be u-joints or a sloppy ring and pinion gear mating. The slack has got to be taken up somewhere. Without knowing the mils i would get under truck and wiggle up and down and side ways and twist by hand all the u-joints and look for wear even rust, that would be the cheapest fix
Because it gets hot, then the sweat glands send out the sweat, which causes it to cool down.
the wineing is probably the fuel injecters because that is what was wrong with my dads truck.
Cylinder miss.
will the transmission causes my 1999 ford expedition to bog down & sputter when accelerating the 4.6liter engine.
you need to get new spark plug leads
The car is accelerating quickly as it speeds down the highway.
By D-accelerating
We'd need to know the exact symptoms in order the narrow down the possible causes.
Since there is a downward 1.5-ton gravitational force on the truck, there must also be an upward 1.5-ton 'normal' force acting on it at the ground. If the vertical forces on it were not balanced and adding to zero, then the truck would be accelerating vertically, either up or down, depending on the direction of the 'net' force.
Down and Out - 1971 was released on: USA: 1 January 1971
An object that is accelerating may slow down, speed up, or change direction.
Your transmission is slipping and should be checked asap. on some models they can flush the transmission and adjust the bands this will give you a little more life out of the transmission.
down the hill. the force of gravity pulls you down.
