In the winter time the temp. gets up to 34 degrees celcius and in the summer the temp. gets up to 3-12 degrees celcius! talk about cold! 15-25cm of precipitation! :)

Many mammals and birds migrate to the region during the summer. Arctic foxes and snowshoe hares change their fur color. For example : In the winter, Arctic fox's fur would be white, same as the hare. In the winter, the fur would be brown.
