Artemis was the goddess of the moon and hunting.

She protected women, animals, and cities, and she could change people into animals.

Her symbols were the cypress tree, the dog, deer, and bird.

Her weapons were a silver bow and arrow.

She lived on Mount Olympus, and she was the daughter of Zeus and Leto and the twin sister of Apollo. She was not married, preferring to hunt and be independent.

She would punish hunters who killed more game than they needed to eat.

Artemis is full of many qualities, and whether you consider them good or bad is up to the person I suppose. But here are some of what I think are her good qualities:

1. She is protective and supportive of women

2. Unlike her fellow goddess warrior, Athena, Artemis believes that all women should have power, if they wield it without being power-hungry.

3. She is an amazing huntress, never missing her mark

4. Is the protector of women in labor, girls, and infant animals.
