There are a few birds that I know of that live in Quebec during the winter. One is the Boreal Chickadee (Poecile Hundsonica). Another is the Gray Jay (Perisoreus Canadensis). This particular jay lives throughout all of Canada except the very very far north. It stashes food during the summer when food is plentiful. It has an amazing memory and can remember exactly where the food has been stashed. The Iceland Gull (Larus Glaucoides) inhabits the St. Lawrence River the entire year. The Ruffed Grouse (Bonasa Umbellus) inhabits Quebec except for the very northern portion the entire year. Those are a few of the birds that I know of that do. Besides those the Raindeer (Rangifer tarandus) also known as the Caribou is a permenant inhabitant. The Gray Wolf (Canis lupus) is also a permenant resident although not common. There is a small number of Musk Ox (Ovibos Moschatu) that reside in Quebec the entire year. Besides those are Snow Shoe Rabbits, Fox, and of course Mosquitos although the Mosquitos are dormant during the winter but nevertheless alive.

krill are a massive part of the food process, MANY MANY animals live of them, most whales live of them, also many birds and penguins and many animals. most of the animals in antarctica would die if it wasn't for these little creatures! due to the global warming, currents in the ocean are changeing and krill are following them, many of the animals that live off tham don't no exactily where they are not, the are getting comfused and this already has a magore affect on the food web! most of the animals that dont live on krill, eat animals that DO live on krill si if there is no krill, we might not have most of the animals we have now! -abbey
