Social classes clearly exist through artistry of music. Busker and followers of certain Musical Instruments attained their own social classes or were rather confirmed the 'working classes' through their favoured instruments. For example - The Balalaika in Russian history has an interesting look on class many years ago and also the Accordion is and was an instrument that was linked with the working class of France in the past, which is where the Parisian style and perhaps stereo typical views grew from.
