Ignition switch going bad, corroded or loose battery cables, starter relay or starter going bad.

There may be way to do this, but I have tried a couple of times and cannot make it mix properly.

They were looking for a fresh start and new ideas.
That's easy, just start with a Squirtle and evolve it a couple times.
well you get pain down there . if you get it a couple times a day i could be the star of your pierd
Try this, turn key on ( not start ) press gas pedal down three times ( not too fast ) and turn off key. Start motor and the light should be off.
a little bit of more information... i drive a 1997 maxima and sometimes it will start right up, and others it will start up and idle down and die like instantly unless i hit the gas and rev it a couple times. I got it checked out like 4 times... my mechanic put a cold start solenoid in it, cleaned all the valved, put 2 cool temp sensors in it and it still has the same problem...anyone have ideas?
I would suspect the fuel pump.

Shifter may need ajusting . Could also be a bad vaccuum switch (My 88 Wrangler had that problem)
well, if it like my 97 turn the key to run ( not start ) 3 times ( off to run, off to run, off to run ) and watch the odometer.
Take the battery to an auto parts store and have it load tested. If it checks ok, then clean and take a close look at all connections. If it still will not start, suspect the starter or starter relay. cheaper yet, give the starter a solid whack a couple times and then try and start it, sometimes they "set up" after sitting awhile.
