∙ 11y agoHe was 19 years old when he received his Bachelors degree from Morehouse College (1948) and 22 when he received his Divinity degree from Crozer Theological Seminary. He received his PhD at 26 from Boston University while a pastor at Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama.
The reason that he was able to enter Morehouse College at 15 is that he attended high school for only two years (10th and 11th grades) and did not formally graduate. This was not a requirement for entrance at Morehouse.
