You dont have to be 14 to get your Industrial Ear Piercing. I Refuse That Age Because Age Is Just A Number. I Am Getting Mine Done In About 3 To 4 Months And I Am Only 13 Years Old. Mom And Dad Said They Would Take Me To Get It Done, And They Dont Really Care What I do After I Get My Piecing.

like any piercing an industrial (or scaffholding) can be performed at any age, however, you cannot get one without prior parental consent and it unlikely to be performed on a person younger then that age by most piercers. Your best bet is to simply go to a local tattoo and piercing studio and ask them. Blue banana stores do industrial piercings for around £25 (thats ho much mine cost) however, make sure your piercer uses a needle not a gun, and make sure there are two needles used rather then one. I learnt this from experience as my piercer was reckless and missed the spot she has dotted to pierce through and hence pierced my industrial through almost 1cm of cartilage.

If you are not entirely sure you want this piercing DO NOT GET IT PIERCED. On average they take around 8 months to heal or in my case 14 and in the scarily common possibility your piercer hasn't quite given you a big enough bar to compensate for the swelling then you will also get the piercing forcing into the balls at the end of the bar and abscessing.
