There is no set speed anyone can tell you. Most engines are set at 3600 RPMs but it will depend on that and what size sprockets you are using from the axle to the jackshaft or clutch. Also, are you using a clutch or a torque converter b/c that will make a big difference as well.

∙ 10y agoIt is greatly dependant on the weight of the cart, the gear ratio, and the tire sizes. on a race cart a 15 hp (if you could mount it) will do between 50 and 60 mph. I have never seen one on a yard cart (lie the one seaters you can get at tractor supply) but i would venture to say you could probably push 45-50 moh with the right gearing.

∙ 11y agoi heard something around or above 30 or 35.
It also depends on whether the engine runs on gasoline or alcohol. Alcohol is a lot faster than gasoline.

How fast dose a 15 hp go kart go
Anonymous
around 40
Not very fast at all because of all of the weight but the 150 pounds would almost even it out.
faster than the others
My 6hp Murray go kart goes about 20mph....your and f@#king dumb a@# you can go faster then that
about 80kph for 1hour
a 125 shifter kart can reach about 115 miles per hour and go from 0-60 in about 3 seconds
50 mph
depends on motor and traction.
A 3HP motor can reach speeds up to at least 30 mph depending on what you are using it for.
