First, you may already be aware that most stores currently are not offering full times positions to people, even if they transfer to the same position in a different store. So you might want to ask the store(s) you are interested in about this.
Next, if you get along with your store managers you might speak to them about this. The reason I suggest the store manager is that at some point the store manager will get your request through the Walmart computer and have to approve you leaving. Also, store managers (not all know how to do this), can go onto the dashboard and see postions in other stores that are open. They also may have connections at that store to help you get a good position.
If you don't feel comfortable speaking with your store manager, then i suggest speaking with your personnel manager (not required though). You do though need a username/password to log onto the "wire" at work. Search for "personnel dashobard" On that link it will let you know your career preferences of what areas in your own store you are interested in. Somewhere on a side link it will list for you to put in for a transfer. It will then ask you for what stores you want to put in for a transfer and for what departments in the store as well. Keep in mind that if you want to transfer to a store that needs someone in the electronics and you know nothing about it, you will not be able to transfer.

You can get it from a member of managment or your Personnel Associate if you are a Walmart employee. If you are not an employee, the only way to get it would be to ask someone you know who is an employee for a copy.
If the employee was terminated "for cause" (for doing something wrong), then it is unlikely, but not impossible, that Walmart would rehire them. If the employee was terminated because of a reduction in staffing ("downsizing"), it is much more likely that Walmart would rehire at a later date.
I am an employee and it opens march 16th 2011.
They should contact their supervisor - and request the transfer. The supervisor should then initiate the transfer to allow the employee to move to the distribution centre.

A letter of transfer letter is a letter from a previous employer to be received by employee's new employer for recommendation. This usually happens when the employee is transferring to the same franchise just a different location.
In general, a company cannot force an employee to transfer to a different location or position without the employee's consent. However, there may be exceptions if the transfer is specified in the employment contract or if there are business reasons that warrant the transfer. It is advisable to review the terms of employment and seek legal advice if necessary.

A transfer letter can either come from an employer requesting that the employee transfer, or an employee requesting to transfer. In either case show compassion by thanking them for all that they have done in the past.

If an employer is transferring an employee, the letter should include the location of transfer. The letter should also include when and the reason for the transfer.
A transfer letter is given to an employee when transferring to another location. When writing a transfer letter be sure to date it, state any perks or benefits given and state the reason for the transfer.
